The Company

We are a Sheffield based DIY Conservatory supplier. We have extensive experience in the DIY Conservatory sector and were founded to provide a fresh and new approach to the conservatory industry. Our strong customer focus is paramount to the way we operate. Moving away from the old style ‘foot in the door’ sales tactics, we are proud to work in the interests of the customer to both educate and facilitate the perfect solution for every customer’s specific needs.

We do not employ pressure tactics and will endeavour to always communicate both clearly and politely. We do this particularly when responding to customer requests and when looking to arrange follow up calls. Good communication is the key to successful relationships.

Our Mission

Conservatree4u has three core objectives:

1. To supply the right Conservatory to you with the best possible customer focused service.

2. To take an environmental and ethical stance when selling our products. In essence we donate a percentage of our annual turnover to help towards tackling environmental issues such as climate change. The main focus of this at present is towards tree conservation.

3. To address and champion the use of PVCu. To re-educate, re-inform and dispel the myths that have been attributed to our industry over the past few years.

A Statement from the Boss

“When developing the Business Model for Conservatree4u  we wanted to establish a brand that both portrayed our products and our  ethical focus. The conservatories we supply are UPVC (or PVCu to use  its correct acronym) and as those in the industry know, PVCu manufacture  is a part oil based manufacturing process, hence fossil fuel reliant.  We acknowledge that to a degree this means we are having an effect on  our environment and the planet, like so many other industries.

The idea for our model came about because we wanted to do something more  positive around this issue to combat, in part, the effects our industry  is having. However, I must immediately add to this that there is much  misrepresentation of the environmental impact of making and using PVCu  which is rife in the public media. We want to help to redress that  balance by providing a service which will help to give the consumer  greater knowledge to make informed decisions when these concerns are  close to their hearts.

Today’s customers are ever more environmentally aware and we believe  this is going to play a major part in purchasing trends in the years to  come. Inevitably, companies are going to have to address issues of the  environment, their impact upon it and what they can do to help.

We would feel a great sense of achievement if, in the future, by taking  this ethical stance from the start with our business, we help to lead  and change the way businesses in our industry operate. If all companies  do as we do in contributing something back and being more open about the  issues, we can say we have made a difference.

To this end, we will be writing on our blog in much greater detail about  everything that we are passionate about and we hope that we can provide  valuable information. We also welcome comments from others, whether  consumer or industry/campaign specific. Healthy and informed debate is a  good thing; after all it all leads back to open communication being the  key to success.”
