Friends Together

Friends Together exists to provide Personal Assistant services, activities and domiciliary care for people with learning difficulties, on the autistic spectrum or people with difficult epilepsy. Friends2g focus on customer-centred care , providing a bespoke support staff service built around what the customer wants. Our activities are planned jointly between staff and students and are guided by what our students want.

Friends2g aims to provide a wraparound service for our customers: we seek to offer support with every step of core planning, budget planning, home help and access to peripheral services and agencies. That means our PAs help our customers plan holidays, shop for clothes, organise their financial affairs and control their housing arrangements.

Friends2g Personal Assistants are individually teamed with customers and the customer controls this process too, resulting in a one-to-one relationship.

Our activities are student-led, meaning our students choose what they want to do and we support them to do it. Our activities can be viewed on our website. We welcome new members to any of them and currently have activities ranging from crafting and card-making through bowling and cooking to cinema trips.
